Many of the programs are provided through Union Privilege, the benefit arm of the AFL-CIO; others are unique to AFT and are coordinated directly through AFT PLUS. AFT Pennsylvania has entered into a partnership with Misericordia University and Virtual Education Services Inc (VESi) to provide deeply discounted graduate courses online.

Members will be able to choose from 36 courses in General & Exceptional Education, Reading, ELL, and Early Childhood education and up to three courses per year. Up to 9 credits can be applied toward an advanced degree at Misericordia University, which can be applied or transferred to most colleges and universities in the United States.

Streamlined Reimbursement Process

To submit for reimbursement (NEW 1/24/22): Fill out this form and mail to the address provided.

You must attach the following:

• A photo of the purchased COVID-19 test kit box with the barcode visible
• Receipt of purchase that displays the date and the purchased item highlighted/circled

Pharmacies will begin processing claims after the 16th. Members who chose to pay out of pocket before pharmacies’ systems are set up will be eligible for reimbursement.
