PFT Health & Welfare Fund

The Health & Welfare Fund administers PFT member benefit programs H&W coordinators provide information about benefits, including dental, vision, long-term disability and prescription drug plans. They also assist members with Worker's Compensation, retirement planning, medical coverage and professional development.
PFT Legal Services Fund

The PFT Legal Services plan provides free and reduced cost legal services for members and their families, including legal advice, court representation, wills or home-purchase assistance. A legal services fund coordinator can speak at chapter meetings and provide members with information about the plan. Call the number above to set up a visit by the coordinator. Get Involved!
The PFT maintains a number of committees linking professionals in the 10 bargaining units. Committees meet at different times throughout the school year to discuss issues of mutual concern, to hear guest speakers and exchange ideas. Visit the PFT Events page for a schedule of meetings.
