June 25: Join us in Harrisburg to Lobby and Rally for Public Education Funding
On June 25, PFT members, students, parents and activists are going to our state capital to tell meet with elected leaders, and tell them to fully fund our public schools!

Calling elected officials is great. Showing up at their state capital offices is even better!

On Tuesday, June 25, the PFT will be taking 13 busloads of members to Harrisburg as we join educators and activists statewide for a day of lobbying and rallying for public education.

The PFT has added 6 buses, and there are still seats available at each of the five schools below:

South Philadelphia High School - 2101 S. Broad Street

University City High School - 3601 Filbert Street


Kensington CAPA High School - 1901 N. Front Street

Martin Luther King High School - 6100 Stenton Avenue

Northeast High School - 1601 Cottman Avenue

WHEN: Tuesday, June 25 (Buses depart for Harrisburg at 8:00 a.m., and will be back in Philly by early evening)

The PFT will have buses leaving from five different Philadelphia public school locations. Pick the location that works best for you and click its link to register for a seat on a bus departing from one of the following schools: 

8 a.m. Buses depart for Harrisburg 

10:30 a.m.: Drop off In Harrisburg, visits to state legislators offices

1:00 p.m.:
Rally featuring students, educators, parents and activists

2:00 p.m.: Attendees will join hands and form a ring around Harrisburg

3:00 p.m:
Buses head back to Philly
